Creed just lays on the ground and rests his face on his backpack
While I need to heal, I cannot trust these people. I reckon the Half-Elf is waiting to put a knife through my heart once I become unconscious.

Hanson sits down crossing his legs, although he holds both his shortswords out all the while.
I'll be the one who stays up and watches... Goblin, orc... Tiefling. Whoever that's foolish enough will find themselves with a sword impaled through their face and chest. Not to mention and arrow in their tongue for extra measure.

Mumed sits by a tree, looking at the ground.
I need to be more careful.I've done the thunderwave before and it wasn't that big.I don't know how I overshot it.I left my family to learn magic to help the world, not to harm.
Mumed then looks at his hand focusing on his gray skin, remembering how at his old wizard school a kid was showing everyone his new fire spell which ended up as a explosion of flames, which burned mumed's skin.
"I'll make sure that doesn't happen to anyone ever again."

Wylym drifts in and out of sleep a couple of times. It seems as though every time he falls to slumber lucid dreams of his purpose set his mind racing. He submits to his thoughts and sits up for a while. I needed that. First time I felt vulnerable in a long time. Without fear, I'll get comfortable. If I get to comfortable I'll get sloppy. And that can't happen or I will be visiting with Sil sooner than later. It is clear that I must divide my attention between the road as well as these malcontents I've been hired to travel with. Wylyn scans the group looking each in the eyes before loudly declaring "Well that was certainly exciting"

Hanson, closing his eyes as he hears Wylym's remark thinks to himself most certainly could've been avoided, most certainly was a nuisance.

Creed gets up from the ground, dusts himself off, and sees Mumed standing next to Wylym, and joins them.
"Any news?"

Hanson draws out one his shortswords and calmly points it at the Tiefling as he draws closer.
"You're no lord over me. Refrain from speaking to me as such, or thou shalt surely die, uncared for and unloved, just as your ancestors".
Hanson looks straight into the eyes of the Tiefling.

Couple of things: The following people gain XP for killing the goblins a little bit back: ati "The Hero" = 50 XP BobThyDangerously = 50 XP iodill8 = 50 XP howardbware = 50 XP Future Tips:When you attack, you don't have to try killing the enemies. You can choose (you must say something that suits the story telling) to knock them unconscious instead. There are pros and cons to this, most notably these: Pro: You can try to get information from the enemies. This can help you gain clues on your mission. Though not necessary to progress. Con: Well, the main con is that you don't kill your enemy, meaning that they could have something up their sleeve. Also, sometimes they won't have any knowledge for you to gain. Another tip: Sometimes you have to choose. You guys don't always need to stick together. If you guys end up splitting up, I will explain how we do that when the time comes. There are pros and cons to this as well. Pros: It allows you to be multiple places at once. Cons: When you're split apart, you will NOT be able to see what the others are doing. Think of it as in real life. If I were at the store, and you were at your house, you wouldn't know what I was doing and/or saying. That's how the game will take place too. There's also the con that you have less people, so it may end up being harder battles. If enemies prove to be too strong, you can always try to flee. Not that that has been the case yet anyway. Long rests (8+ hours) fully heal you when successful, but it does leave you vulnerable. There are short rests that allow you to use your hit dice (gain 1 per level) to gain health. Another tip: Don't be afraid to try investigating strange encounters (for instance, you were supposed to investigate the horse carriage with dead horses awhile back, and since Mumed destroyed them, there was no longer a way for you to do so, so you guys missed out on information). However, a good example of you guys doing it right was when Wylym investigated from the trees because it allowed him to see the goblins there, which also wasn't supposed to happen). That's it for now. I'll try adding more as we go along. ------------------- As the four strangers walk down the path, they eventually see a sign that reads "Welcome to Phandalin! Please enjoy your visit!" They can finally see the town, they made it to Phandalin by feet! The first building they run by has a humongous sign that reads "Barthen's Provisions: Get your gear here!"

"Alas, lets drop off these provisions and collect our gold. We can then be on our separate ways" There are far more folks here than I am accustomed to. The sooner I get back home the better. Perhaps make the best of the trip ans pick up a few supplies and then home where I belong. Where is Gundren with my gold?

Wylym Reaches into his quiver, pulls out an arrow, lies on his back and attempts to draw the arrow back with his feet in an effort to shoot himself in the face out of boredom.
