These are just some basic rules to follow. There are too many D&D rules to type out, so I'll just type the essentials, or ones we run into as we play.
1. Don't "Play God" (called God-Modding). You can always attempt to do shit, but the DM and your dice rolls will decide whether you're successful or not. Here's two examples, one that's wrong, and one that's correct.
WRONG > BaneTheDestroyer picks up The Batman with all of his strength. He slams him down on top of his knee, watching the Batman fall to the ground in pain and agony. BaneTheDestroyer broke the Batman's back.
RIGHT > BaneTheDestroyer attempts to pick up The Batman over his head, so he can drop him down upon his knee!
2. HAVE FUN!
3. Try to keep out Out-Of-Character discussion (OOC) if possible. However, if you need to ask something, I'll allow it. Especially since we're all just learning for the most part.
4. There are two phases, kind of. I'll spell them out below:
a. Normal Phase: This is when there's really no action happening. Mainly just talking usually. You can post freely until an action phase is started. The DM/GM will announce when this happens.
b. Action phase: As soon as an action of some sort is made, people are only allowed to post once until the DM/GM says they can go again.
5. The DM/GM has the right to delete posts if need be, but only if absolutely necessary.
6. If I think of any other rules, I will add them, haha.
7. I ENCOURAGE YOU GUYS TO MAKE THREADS WITH YOUR OWN NOTES IF YOU WANT. Also, if you want them to be visible to only you, just ask me through PM.
8. If you're speaking aloud, you can do one of two things: Color the text, or put quotations around the text. If you're speaking to yourself, or thinking to yourself, you use italics. If you're just narrating your character, just use regular text.
