BWA (Borderlands Wrestling Association) is one of the midwest's leading independent promotions, operating in both the United States and southern Canada. It is best known for it's old school approach to wrestling and promotion. For independent wrestlers, BWA is known as a great place to make a name for yourself before moving on to a national promotion. Though they host shows monthly, they have two major events every year; their War For The Border event in January (which involves teams of 4 battling through elimination matches to see who will be the last man standing), and the Contract Catastrophe in June, a pair of tournaments that run at the same time, one for unsigned indy workers looking for a spot on the BWA roster (with the winner getting a one year contract), and another for established midcard workers (in which the worker who scores the least points loses his spot on the roster to make room for the newcomer). Tiffani "Trinity" Lark, owner and director of operations

The daughter of legendary BWA founder (and first World Champion) Jack "Hammer" Lark, Tiffani took over the company after her Father had a heart attack last year and needed to retire. In addition to training to become a wrestler herself, Tiffani has a very "hands on" approach to running the family business, and is a notoriously tough negotiator. She has also developed somewhat of a reputation for dating the talent.


Pete Smoke, Ring Announcer

After an unimpressive career with various national promotions, Pete Smoke retired from in-ring competition and came to work as a ring announcer for his old friend Jak Lark. Smoke is beloved by fans for his rich speaking voice and strong cadence. Backstage, he is also part of the Booking Committee, and is not well-liked by many of the workers. He is known to show favoritism toward flashier, less traditional style workers (such as luchadores), and to anyone whom he personally likes. Getting on his bad side has been known to ruin careers.

Paul Birch, Color Commentary (heel)

Having once worked a pirate gimmick in a national promotion, Paul Birch is now a commentator for BWA, continuing to work his most successful gimmick. He has on occasion left the commentary table to form versions of his "Pieces of Eight" faction, pirate themed wrestlers. Former Pieces of Eight members have typically gone on to successful solo careers within the company. Like all heel commentators, Birch favors liars, cheats, and thieves, and defends their activities with gusto.

Jimmy Yang, Color Commentary (face)

Like his broadcast colleague Paul Birch, Jimmy Yang once worked the national circuit in various gimmicks, most famously a "martial arts" gimmick (based on his half-Korean heritage), and a "country musician" gimmick. To this day he maintains the country accent and cowboy hat. Jimmy Yang generally talks up the babyfaces.

Carter Reed, "Head" Booker

After his promising in-ring career ended due to injury, Carter Reed joined the booking committee for BWA. He is never seen by fans, preferring to remain strictly backstage. Carter is known for being fair-minded and a bit rules-oriented, and is probably the least biased of the 3 bookers (Trinity, Pete, and Carter). Carter does have a bit of a soft spot for female workers, whom he feels are not properly respected on the national stage.

Tommy "the Mad Scientist" Treznik, BWA World Heavyweight Champion (heel)

A skilled, if chaotic, wrestler known for his expertise at counter-wrestling and constantly innovating new moves, Tommy is backed by his stable, the H3RD (pronounced as "herd"). Tommy is a 4 time World Champion in BWA and has held the title for 7 months now. Treznik rarely socializes with other wrestlers, preferring to spend his time alone, and claims to be "experimenting." Ever since taking on the "Mad Scientist" gimmick, Tommy has been bringing "elixirs" to his matches, which he can drink or give to others to drink. He claims his elixirs make him immune to the Finishing maneuvers of other wrestlers.

"Ace High" Cameron Skyy, BWA United States Champion (babyface)

A former world Champion and longtime rival of Tommy Treznik, "Ace High" Cameron Skyyy hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, and he gambles in the ring and out. Known for his wild antics during matches and punishing aerial assault, Cameron Skyy is a fan favorite who will no doubt rise to the top of the ranks once more.

"Jersey" Joe Spinelli & Lisa "Bling Bling" Torino, BWA Tag Team Champions (heels)


Hailing from The Shore, New Jersey, the BWA tag team champions are a lethal combination of raw, brute force.

"Dark Match" Donnie Driver (babyface)

After 20 years in the business with little to no real success, Donne Driver is known as the "King of the Dark Match." Good humored and always willing to help younger workers, Donnie doesn't seem bitter about never having been able to make it to the top of the business. Instead, he is still happy to have just been able to be around the ring as long as he has. Donnie has worked a number of gimmicks over the years, but currently simply works under his own name.
